Job summary

V7 Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Construction Manager to lead a multi‑billion‑pound campus of data centres in Finland. You will drive mega projects in mission critical environments, coordinating across design, engineering and site teams to deliver on schedule.

The role demands strong leadership, risk management and a track record in large-scale construction, preferably for data centres, pharma or energy/storage facilities. Relocation will be required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale, mission-critical facilities projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
• Proven track record in construction management for data centres or similar mega projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical construction activities on mega campus projects.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers and suppliers to ensure milestones are met.
• Ensure safety, quality and performance requirements are achieved on site.

- €90k - €100k basic salary & car (fuel paid for), 24 day holiday €235 per week (£13k a year tax free), healthcare, all accommodation, flights costs covered, strong pension

The opportunity:

Fancy being a Mechanical Construction Manager on a multi billion pound project that is seeing a campus of data centres being built in Finland? One of the worlds leading projects of this current time in this space?

On that basis, we are looking for an Mechanical Construction Manager on a permanent basis to use your expertise on these mega projects as the projects continue on. So a real chance to get some of the most interesting project experience with other high profile projects to get your teeth in to once these are done (in about 6 years)…

We're actually open to the background here, but something “mission critical” so the likes of data centre (obviously), pharmaceutical, battery storage facilities, nuclear or MEP etc.

Finland location:

The elephant in the room is these roles are based in Finland so you would have to relocate out there. But lets be honest, it's better out there than the UK these days! So that's an easy sell…

The Person:

We're more bothered about getting the right “person” in who can add value from day one and use your expertise on this hyperscale data centre project.
