Assystem is seeking an Experienced Mechanical CAD Engineer for its Fusion and Modular Nuclear Business Unit in the UK. You will deliver component models, P&IDs, integrated layouts, and assemblies for Small Modular Reactor (SMR).
You will collaborate with engineering designers and produce CAD models to high standards, supporting a fast-paced, highly secure project environment. You will integrate layouts from concept to construction, manage data, conduct peer reviews, and mentor junior team

Join the Fusion and Modular Nuclear Business Unit! Reporting to the CAD Manager, the mechanical CAD engineer is responsible for the delivery of component models and definitions, system P&IDs, integrated layouts, and assemblies for the Small Modular Reactor (SMR). The role will involve developing an understanding of the layout and components within the SMR, collaborating with engineering designers, and generating CAD models and definitions to a high standard.
