Mechanical Building Services Engineer

Position: Mechanical Building Services Engineer

Location: East Yorkshire

Hourly Rate: GBP 18 – GBP 18.50 (PAYE) plus holiday pay

The Role: This is a contract role for an experienced Mechanical Building Services Engineer working for a Public Sector client. The initial contract is 6 months, with a high likelihood of extension. The role is Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week, involving office work and site visits in East Yorkshire to provide expert advice on Mechanical Building Services in various buildings. Responsibilities include addressing mechanical issues, appointing specialists, and overseeing work to completion.

You Must Have:

• Experience as a Mechanical Building Services Engineer or similar
• Knowledge of water systems, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning
• Proven track record in delivering mechanical projects on time and within budget
• Ability to manage multiple schemes including specifications, schedules, payments, commissioning, and handover
• Driving license and vehicle

This role may suit an experienced Contracts Manager, Project Manager, Minor Works Manager, Site Manager with a mechanical background, or someone from the Public Sector such as an Estates Officer or Mechanical Inspector.
