Job Title: Building Services Engineer (Mechanical Bias)

Location: Manchester & Hybrid (3:2)

We are currently seeking a Building Services Engineers (Mechanical Bias) to support our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a variety of prestigious projects and develop your career within a supportive and knowledgeable team.

Responsibilities
  • Design Support: Assist with the development and design of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems across a range of building projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and client needs.
  • Coordination: Support integration of mechanical systems with other building services to ensure efficient and cohesive system delivery.
  • Project Assistance: Work closely with senior engineers to support delivery from design through to implementation, including site visits, documentation, and liaison with stakeholders.
  • Sustainability: Contribute to the development of energy-efficient and sustainable solutions aligned with current best practices.
  • Compliance & Safety: Support compliance with relevant health, safety, and regulatory standards in all system designs.
Qualifications
  • Qualifications: Degree or HNC/HND in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of industry experience (including placements/internships).
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with CAD and building design software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, H2X).
  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of HVAC and mechanical systems in a building services context.
  • Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills with a proactive and collaborative attitude.
