Mechanical Assembly Technician (Packaging)

£30,000 - £35,000 + Monday - Friday + Training + Progression + Overtime


Are you a Mechanical Assembly Fitter with experience in Packaging or Machinery that wants to work for a well-run, tight knit business that puts its staffs wellbeing and progression at the forefront of the business?

In this role you will be responsible for building of mechanical sub-assemblies, followed by set-up and alignment of machine frames, including functional testing and fault finding.


This role would suit a Mechanical Assembly Technician at level 2 or level 3 with background knowledge in packaging machinery or commercial settings, looking for a new role whereby you can benefit from inhouse training and scalable career progression.


THE ROLE:



  • Working collaboratively within a small team building mechanical sub-assemblies

  • Set-up & alignment of machine frames

  • Set up and alignment of tooling, to achieve specified tolerances/capabilities

  • Functional testing and fault finding


THE PERSON:



  • Assembly Technician on similar

  • Happy to work Monday - Friday with some overtime with packaging machinery working knowledge

  • Local to Bristol
