Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL in Uddingston is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Operator to join a respected market leader in tool manufacture and repair. The role may develop from temporary to permanent.

You will diagnose and rectify faults, service machines before dispatch, and work with the Repair Team to advise on product faults. The package includes a salary of £15.80 per hour, Monday to Friday 8:30am–4:30pm, with full training and potential progression into mobile service engineering.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship in a mechanical field or equivalent qualifications.
• Strong mechanical, assembly or production experience.
• Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of tools and machines.
• Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Enthusiastic team player who learns new technology quickly.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and rectify faults on various types of machinery.
• Service machines before dispatch to the client.
• Collaborate with the Repair Team to advise on product faults.
