Job summary

TEC Partners Limited is supporting an innovative engineering business in London to recruit a Mechanical Assembly Technician on a two-month contract. The role is hands-on, focusing on assembling mechanical components and building automated manufacturing equipment.

You will read engineering drawings, use hand and power tools, install assemblies, and work with engineers to troubleshoot. Tools are provided, and the position offers an hourly rate of £18–£24 outside IR35.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical assembly, machine building or mechanical fitting.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Confident using workshop hand and power tools.
• Good mechanical knowledge and practical problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced engineering workshop.
• Electrical, pneumatic or automation experience would be advantageous.

We're urgently recruiting for a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join an innovative engineering business developing advanced robotic manufacturing systems.

This is a hands-on contract opportunity for someone with experience in mechanical assembly, machine building or mechanical fitting, working on the build of automated manufacturing equipment.
