Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting for an Assembly Operative (Mechanical) in Clevedon. The role involves mechanical assembly, building sub-assemblies and installing pipework in a manufacturing setting serving the semiconductor industry. Suitable candidates will have hands-on experience in mechanical fitting, maintenance or related engineering roles.

Two shifts available with hourly pay rates (£16.48 AM, £17.91 PM) and overtime options. Local transport recommended.

Qualifications

• Hands-on assembly or engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read basic drawings and instructions.
• Reliable with good attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble frames, brackets and components to build sub-assemblies.
• Install pipework and mechanical components and fit heaters/insulation to pipes.
• Follow engineering drawings and work instructions; support general production tasks.
• Maintain a clean, safe and efficient work area.
