  • Use a variety of tools (including torque drivers) safely and effectively.
  • Work to high quality standards, carrying out builds with accuracy and care.
  • Read, understand, and follow engineering drawings and written instructions.
  • Work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
  • Follow health & safety procedures at all times.

Mechanical Assembly Operative Temp to Perm
Sandwich, Kent
GBP13.50 GBP17.25 per hour DOE

We re looking for skilled and enthusiastic Mechanical Assembly Operatives to join a growing manufacturing business in Sandwich. This is a minimum 6-month temporary contract with the opportunity to go permanent, offering long-term career prospects and progression.

You ll be working on the assembly of both simple and complex mechanical and electro-mechanical components, using engineering drawings, work instructions, and a variety of hand and bench tools. Quality and precision will be at the heart of everything you do.

What you ll be doing:

  • Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical components to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Use a variety of tools (including torque drivers) safely and effectively.
  • Work to high quality standards, carrying out builds with accuracy and care.
  • Read, understand, and follow engineering drawings and written instructions.
  • Work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
  • Follow health & safety procedures at all times.
