Job Title: Mechanical Assembly

Location: Chester

Shift: Day Shift (40 Hours Weekly)

Salary: £13.00 - £16.00 (DOE)

Company Overview:

A growing engineering business which specialises in servicing clients within the power and renewable energy sector, the company covers design, manufacture and installation of projects.

The Mechanical Fitter role:

Due to expanding client base and contracts, the company is looking to recruit multiple mechanical fitters to help with the delivery of current and future projects. These positions have arisen as a result of new business projects and strong order books presently and in the future.

Responsibilities:

  • General fitting duties including installation.
  • Reading and working from engineering drawings.
  • Use of hand and power tools to conduct work.
  • Working with quality measuring tools to check work.
  • Working independently while maintaining standards and project requirements.
  • Responsible for cleaning and maintaining all associated equipment and machining area.

Previous Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar mechanical assembly role.
  • Experience working from engineering drawings.
  • Competency with a range of hand and power tools.
