An established industry player is seeking a Mechanical Assembler for weekend shifts in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This ongoing contract role involves assembling and wiring components while adhering to strict ESD guidelines. Mechanical Assembler (weekends)
Greenwich, SE10
Ongoing long-term contract
33 hours per week, working both day and night shifts
Friday – Sunday (There is an initial 6-8 week training period which will be on a Monday – Thursday basis)
£10.10 whilst completing 6-8 week training period
£13 - £14 once on weekend shifts
The Mechanical Assembler role is working in a busy manufacturing and production area within a leading manufacturing company in telecommunications.
As a Mechanical Assembler you will be responsible for:
Hours of work
The successful Mechanical Assembler will be required to work both day shifts and night shifts on a 2-week rotation.
Day shifts (x2 weeks)
Friday: 06:00 – 17:45
Saturday: 06:00 – 17:45
Sunday: 06:00 – 17:45
Night shifts (x2 weeks)
Friday: 18:00 – 05:45
Saturday: 18:00 – 05:45
Sunday: 18:00 – 05:45

Full training will be provided for this role. Candidates who are interested will be invited to an assessment day to go through a Maths and English assessment and an instruction-based manufacturing test. We will go through the role in further detail and discuss the company.
