Rubicon Recruitment Agency is seeking a Mechanical Assembler for Crawley. You will assemble mechanical components using hand and power tools, follow technical drawings, and support on-site installation at customer locations.

This role offers a stable Monday to Friday schedule (07:30–16:30, early finish Fridays) with occasional travel to customer sites. Permanent contract from day one with long-term security in a growing, employee-owned business.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in assembly, automotive, electrical, or bench fitting work.
• Confident use of hand and power tools.
• Basic understanding of lathe and milling operations.

Responsibilities

• Assembling mechanical components and systems using hand and power tools.
• Working from technical drawings and build instructions with accuracy.
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure equipment meets required standards.
• Supporting on-site installation and commissioning at customer locations.
• Interacting professionally with customers during site visits.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
