Location: Cambridge (CB22)Salary: £30,000-£35,000 per annum (pro-rata)Duration: 3 months (potential for extension or future opportunities)Hours: 8:45am-5pm, Monday to FridayJob Reference: 35531We're looking for an experienced Mechanical Assembler/Fitter to assist with the assembly and testing of high-precision equipment. This hands-on role includes prototype assembly, mechanical testing and potential input on future design improvements.Key Responsibilities: Assemble complex, precision machinery with computer-controlled systems. Perform testing, calibration and fine-tuning of mechanical components. Work with motors, rotating systems, pneumatic and gas systems. Collaborate with the team to enhance designs for future iterations. Be flexible to work overtime when necessary to meet deadlines.Requirements:We're seeking a skilled professional with: Extensive experience in assembling advanced machinery prototypes.
