Job summary

The candidate will read engineering drawings, assemble components to specification, use hand and power tools, perform quality checks, and maintain accurate records while adhering to health & safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling mechanical components to specification.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Good manual dexterity and reliability for manufacturing roles.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies to specification.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings, work instructions and bills of materials.
• Use hand tools, power tools and basic measuring equipment.
• Carry out quality checks and ensure components meet tolerance and finish requirements.
• Identify and report non-conformances and work with the team on corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate assembly records and complete paperwork as required.
• Follow health & safety procedures and maintain an orderly work area.
