Job summary

A well-established mechanical services provider is seeking a Mechanical Assembler in Deeside. In this role, you'll be responsible for assembling components according to engineering specifications while ensuring quality and safety standards. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in mechanical assembly and qualifications such as NVQ Level 2/3. This is a permanent position with opportunities for overtime.

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established mechanical services provider in their search for a Mechanical Assembler to work in Deeside

Job Role: Assemble manufactured components following detailed engineering drawings, tolerances and specifications. Work with jigs, fixtures, hand tools and power tools in a workshop-based environment. Maintain high attention to detail and uphold quality standards. Apply mechanical knowledge effectively throughout all assembly processes.

Job Details:

• Hours of Work: Monday to Friday Days (8-Hour Shifts)
• Duration: Permanent
• Benefits: Overtime available at x1.3 and x1.5
• Previous experience working within a mechanical assembly environment
• Ability to work with hand tools and power tools effectively
• Competency in interpreting engineering drawings, tolerances and specifications

Desired Skills & Experience:

• NVQ Level 2/3 in a mechanical discipline

Desired Qualifications:

• CSCS card or Safety Passport - DESIRABLE
• Forklift truck and crane experience - DESIRABLE

Job Role:

As a Machine Operator, you will be working from instructions to set up machinery, use hand and power tools, and perform sanding or grinding of components to remove splatter. You will also be responsible for operating machinery, including some CNC work, carrying out quality checks on finished products, and ensuring all quality assurance and manual handling processes are followed.

• Hours of Work: Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM OR Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday, 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Duration: Temporary to Permanent
• Overtime Rules: x1.5 for all hours
• Experience and knowledge of working in a manufacturing/engineering environment
