Position Summary of a Mechanical Assembler:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our aerospace production team. In this role, you will assemble, fit, and install precision mechanical components used in our aerospace systems. You will work from engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and quality requirements to ensure every product meets stringent aerospace standards.

Key Responsibilities of a Mechanical Assembler:

  • Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies in accordance with engineering specifications and aerospace quality standards
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to complete assemblies accurately
  • Use precision hand tools, torque wrenches, measuring equipment, and machinery to carry out assembly tasks
  • Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with dimensional tolerances and quality requirements
  • Document work completed, following all company and regulatory recordkeeping practices
  • Collaborate with engineers and quality inspectors to resolve assembly issues
  • Follow strict health, safety, and cleanroom protocols

Qualifications & Skills of a Mechanical Assembler:

  • Previous experience as a Mechanical Assembler, preferably within the aerospace or precision engineering industry
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, measuring instruments, and torque equipment
