Job summary

Holt Engineering is recruiting a Mechanical Assembler for a base in Feltham, supporting an aerospace client. The role operates on a 4 days on / 4 days off shift from 6:30am to 6:30pm, with pay at £13.59 per hour. Ideal candidates have hands-on mechanical experience and a meticulous approach to safety and quality.

You will assemble, test, and service mechanical equipment, follow procedures, and help maintain records. UK right to work and ability to undertake a drugs test are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a mechanical, manufacturing, maintenance or engineering environment.
• Good understanding of mechanical tools, equipment and workshop practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and work to established procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to health & safety.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain, and test mechanical equipment, machinery, and components.
• Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and basic repairs.
• Identify worn or damaged parts requiring replacement.
• Assist in sourcing and ordering replacement components when required.
• Follow technical instructions, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Support the wider engineering team with day-to-day operational tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on mechanical experience who is looking to develop their skills within a supportive and professional working environment.

This is a full time role working 6:30am - 6:30pm on a 4 days on 4 days off shift pattern.

The Mechanical Assembler vacancy is paying £13.59 per hour.
