Job summary

A global manufacturer is seeking a Mechanical Assembler in Orpington, Kent. You will perform mechanical assembly of high-spec instrumentation using technical drawings and tools in a supportive team. Ideal candidates will have experience in mechanical assembly and be comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This full-time position offers competitive hourly pay with benefits.

  • Able to read and follow engineering drawings.

Job description

Mechanical Assembler
Orpington, Kent (Commutable from: Bromley, Croydon, Dartford, Sevenoaks)
6 month contract - Full-Time
20.00 - 23.00 per hour (DOE) + Benefits
Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm Friday 8:00am - 1:00pm

Are you a Mechanical Assembler or Technician looking for a permanent, full-time role with excellent training and early Friday finishes?

My client is a global manufacturer in the high-tech instrumentation sector with over 50 years of engineering heritage. Due to continued growth and investment, they are expanding their assembly team.

As a Mechanical Assembler, you will work on precision electro-mechanical assemblies, using technical drawings and tools to build high-quality components used in scientific and life science equipment.

This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on mechanical skills looking to join a supportive team and grow within a stable and fast-moving manufacturer.

The Role:
