Job description

Vehicle Technician - Level 3 City & Guilds/IMI Qualified/MOT

Location: North Yorkshire

Roles Available:

1. Diagnostic Technician - Based on Experience
2. Service Technician & MOT Tester - Based on Experience

Shifts:

• Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 17:30
• or Monday to Thursday 10-hour shifts

Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician or MOT Tester seeking a new career opportunity?

This role offers a fantastic opportunity for qualified Vehicle Technicians across the UK to join established workshops and benefit from a competitive package.

Responsibilities:

• Inspection, maintenance, and repair of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and reliability in accordance with DVSA standards.
• Use of dealer-level and generic diagnostic equipment for efficient repairs.
• Perform repairs and maintenance according to manufacturer standards and schedules.
• Maintain health and safety standards, working within company guidelines and safe practices.
• Complete job cards, maintenance records, and related paperwork to a high standard.
• Carry out MOT Tests.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Recognised apprenticeship or proven work history as a Mechanic or Vehicle Technician.
• Qualified MOT Tester (Class 4 & 7).
• City and Guilds Level 3 in Light Vehicles.
• Additional qualifications in diagnostics, electrical repair, mechanical repair, or welding are advantageous.
