Job Description: Vehicle Technician / Mechanic in Tingewick

Newstaff Employment Services is recruiting for an Isuzu Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client based in Tingewick, Milton Keynes, Bucks.

  • Mainly servicing and resolving the most challenging and time-sensitive problems.
  • Pre-delivery preparation and fitting of accessories to new vehicles.
  • Diagnosing and identifying faults, making improvements, keeping accurate records, and meeting demanding quality and safety standards.
  • Maintaining a good level of efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
  • Accurately and skillfully undertaking the repair and servicing of motor vehicles.
  • Detecting and diagnosing additional faults for further repair.
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with professional standards.
  • Fulfilling all tasks to the customers’ complete satisfaction.
Personal Attributes:
  • Taking responsibility for the quality and quantity of their work.
  • Experience and competency in the accurate use of IT equipment.
  • Self-motivation and enthusiasm.
  • A full Driving Licence.
  • Your own set of tools.
Salary & Benefits:
  • £14-£15 per hour depending on experience, with overtime available.
  • Holiday entitlement: 24 days per year plus bank holidays.
  • Pension: 3% employee contribution and 7% employer contribution.
  • Ongoing training as required.
Working Hours:
  • Monday – Thursday, 8am – 4.30pm; Friday, 8am – 3.30pm, with a ½ hour lunch break (39-hour workweek).
  • Overtime available (Mon – Sat: time and a half; Sunday: double time; bank holiday Monday: double time & day in lieu).
  • Some Saturday mornings work may be required.

Hourly Rate: £14.00-£15.00 per hour + Company Pension + Benefits + On-site parking.
