My client is a family car dealership with 20 years of experience, currently recruiting Vehicle Technicians for their team, working with both Cars and HGVs.

Location: Milton Keynes

Role and Responsibilities:

• Undertake maintenance, service, and repair activities on motor vehicles to the highest standards within scheduled times, adhering to company and franchise standards.
• Repair, test vehicles, and diagnose faults as required by the Service Manager and supervisory staff.
• Replace components, parts, lubricants, and consumables, and record usage.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, organized, and safe work environment.
• Complete work efficiently within manufacturers’ servicing and repair times.
• Advise on vehicle faults and servicing needs, including future requirements.

The Ideal Applicant:

• At least 3 years’ experience post-qualification, preferably in a main dealership or similar setting.
• Ideally hold a valid MOT Card.
• Responsible for the quality and quantity of their work.
• Full UK driving license.
• Level 2 or 3 City and Guilds qualification.

Package for Vehicle Technician:

Basic Salary: Up to £37,000 depending on experience, with OTE of £40,000.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5:30 pm, with alternate Saturdays 7 am to 12 pm.

Package for HGV Technician:

Basis: Up to £42,000 plus OTE.

Hours: Monday to Friday, shift work from 6 am to 2:30 pm or 1:30 pm to 10 pm, with alternate Saturdays.
