A leading automotive training provider in Clacton-on-Sea seeks qualified mechanics for a full-time earn-and-learn programme. Job description

Shorterm Group have partnered with some of the biggest PSV/Bus operators across the UK, aimed at upskilling vehicle mechanics into skilled PSV/Bus technicians.

We are currently looking for qualified and experienced mechanics to join the programme in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex.

It is a 1 year, earn-and-learn programme, full-time in the depot, along with online learning to be done in your own time (1-2 hours per week). Upon completion you will receive an IMI accreditation and a pay increase.

The details:
- Location: Clacton-on-Sea
- Pay: 17p/h weekly paid, 1 week in arrears
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 38hrs paid per week
- Shifts: Must be able to cover all 8hr shifts between 5am and 11pm (8hrs worked per day). Shifts will be allocated on a rota basis.
- OT available
- Upon completion of the programme you will receive at least a 25% pay increase!

Entry requirements:
- Min level 2 in vehicle mechanics, or equivalent qualification/apprenticeship
- Min 2 years experience post study/apprenticeship, gained in a workshop environment
- Valid UK Drivers licence
- Own tools suitable for a working light vehicle technician
- A suitable laptop/computer and internet connection.
