We're looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician (Service Technician) to join our fast-growing team at Cazoo, helping to transform the way people buy used cars and making buying a car as easy as purchasing any other product online today.

The Vehicle Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining vehicles to a high standard as specified by manufacturers or warranty requirements.

Shift Pattern: 554 schedule: working on a 5 on, 5 off, 4 on, 5 off, 5 on, 4 off basis (15 days per month). This pattern allows for two weekends off each month. Working hours are 12 hours per day, including two tea breaks and one lunch break.

What you will be doing:

• Advising on the best methods of repair and estimating repair times in consultation with the Preparation Manager.
• Conducting company inspection processes, noting all areas requiring repair or service.
• Communicating effectively with internal teams and departments.
• Repairing vehicle faults identified through checklists or during the repair process.
• Ensuring the efficient use of workshop facilities and equipment.
• Providing complex diagnostics for a wide variety of vehicles.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of workstations and preparation areas.
• Meeting daily, weekly, and monthly service and repair targets.

Required skills and experience:

• Significant experience in vehicle diagnosis and repair.
• Full driving license required.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• High attention to detail and quality of work.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
