The Role:

We are recruiting for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our track team as a Junior Mechanic. If you have a passion for go-karting, enjoy working with your hands, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

As a Junior Mechanic, you will be responsible for

• Assist with the maintenance and repair of go-karts, ensuring they are in top-notch condition for our customers.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify any mechanical issues and carry out necessary repairs.
• Carry out general maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and cleaning of the go-karts.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to troubleshoot and resolve any technical problems.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Assist with track preparation and setup for race events.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or enquiries related to go-kart performance.

What we need from you...

• Some basic knowledge/study or experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance; cars, bicycle's, motorbikes, quad bikes etc.
• Basic knowledge of engine mechanics and troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with colleagues and customers.
• A passion for go-karting and a desire to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as per business needs.

Shifts are available from Monday to Sunday including weekends and evenings on a 4, 12 or 30 hour per week contract. Flexibility is vital for this role. *Due to the nature of our business, weekend and evening work is essential*
