An independent MOT and repair centre near Peterborough is seeking a qualified MOT Tester. In this role, you'll perform MOT tests and general repairs in a supportive garage environment. Were working with a busy, independent MOT and repair centre based just outside Peterborough, who are looking to take on a qualified MOT Tester to join their team. If you're confident with prep work, repairs, and testing and want to be part of a straightforward, supportive workshop, this could be a great fit.

The Role:

As a Mechanic / MOT Tester, you'll be responsible for carrying out MOT tests alongside general repair and servicing work. You'll be working in a well-equipped and tidy garage environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out MOT testing to DVSA standards
• Perform general servicing and repairs on a variety of vehicles
• Handle prep work and ensure vehicles are test-ready
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and uphold health & safety standards
• Deliver great customer service when required

About You:

• MOT Testing Licence is essential
• Experience working in a similar garage/mechanic role
• Confident working independently and as part of a small team
• Professional and reliable with a customer-first attitude
• Driving licence preferred

What You'll Get:

• Monday to Friday 8am-5:30pm and Saturdays only when required
