As a JJ’s Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Maintenance Mechanic, you will play an integral role within our workshop team at our Underwood depot.

You will be responsible for all facets of preventative maintenance and repair of heavy rigid vehicles, including brakes, steering, suspension, hydraulics, and fabrication.

We operate in an essential services industry, providing stability to employees and reliability to our customers.

ABOUT YOU

• Have trade qualifications as a Truck Mechanic - Heavy Commercial Vehicles
• Demonstrate an exceptional eye for detail
• Complete pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing
• Hold a HR and forklift license (preferred but not essential)
• Have a good mechanical aptitude
• Demonstrate professionalism and an outcome-focused approach
• Work well independently and as part of a team
• Be committed to a culture of learning and continuous improvement
• Be dedicated and reliable, as we are an essential services industry
• Build rapport and relationships with all stakeholders
• Prioritize safety compliance and customer service excellence
