Job Description:

Tomcat Motorsport Ltd is seeking a mechanic, engineer, or car builder. This role involves building and partially building Tomcat road and competition cars. Responsibilities include repairs (including racing damage), servicing, and fabrication for off-road and track competition vehicles.

The ideal candidate should be a capable mechanic, resourceful, and able to solve technical and build problems. Skills in electrical systems repair, light fabrication, fibre glass repairs, welding, and machining are preferred but not essential.

The successful candidate will work under the project engineer alongside other team members, both permanent and self-employed.

This role can be part-time, suitable for a qualified mechanic seeking a change or a skilled car builder looking for part-time work, possibly in retirement. Road and off-road testing will be required, so a clean UK driving license is necessary.
