Job Description

Salary: $23-25/hr

Environmental Construction company located in Lyndhurst, NJ, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic Assistant. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience or be recent graduates of trade/vocational school.

Requirements:
  1. Repairing and performing preventive maintenance on heavy equipment.
  2. Experience working with excavators, wheel loaders, etc.
  3. Experience with screeners, crushers, and stackers is a major plus.
  4. Repair and maintenance of hydraulic and electric systems.
  5. Ability to pass background checks, motor vehicle records, and drug screens.
  6. OSHA 10-Hour, OSHA 30-hour Construction, and/or 40-Hour Hazwoper certifications.
