Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 (40 hours per week)

The Role

We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our team based in Newport.As a key member of our depot operations, you will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, repair, and assembly of a variety of industrial products, including power tools and lifting equipment.Your focus will be on maintaining equipment to the highest standards to ensure reliability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical repairs, servicing, and maintenance of hire equipment in line with company and manufacturer standards
• Prioritise and manage workload effectively to support operational efficiency
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and parts used
• Support depot operations by ensuring equipment is safe, tested, and ready for hire
• Collaborate with colleagues to support continuous improvement and customer service excellence
• Contribute to the delivery of our ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver
