We are looking for a brilliant mechanic to work out of 2 BCA branches, providing a fast and efficient service.

We want someone who can work independently and plan their own workload.

We need someone with experience in repairing a variety of vehicles.

Previous experience in the motor trade and familiarity with different manufacturers is essential.

We would love to hear from you if you can identify vehicle faults and diagnose issues.

We offer a competitive starting salary of £34,000.

There is potential to earn up to an additional £6,000 (OTE).

Additional overtime and bonuses are available for new initiatives supporting our retail partners on a rota basis.

What you will do

• With workshop experience, you will be confident in carrying out all aspects of vehicle maintenance and enjoy working on various cars in a dynamic environment.
• Plan your weekly workload independently.
• Work at a BCA branch, functioning similarly to an RAC/AA patrol.
• Dedicate one day every two weeks to working from home, listening to engine videos from our retail partners.

About you:

• A current full UK manual driving license.
• Car mechanic background, preferably time served.
• Technical knowledge demonstrated effectively.
• Confidence to decide whether to repair in-house or refer to outside repairers.
• Ability to deliver excellent 5-star service to partners on-site in our hubs.
