Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Mechanical Design Engineer (AutoCAD) for a Newark–on–Trent manufacturer. You will produce 2D manufacturing drawings, create and maintain Bills of Materials, amend designs, perform site surveys and provide technical support to the shopfloor.

The role offers a salary of £35,000–£40,000, industry training, an early Friday finish and a comprehensive benefits package, with opportunities to work on high-profile projects and travel around the country.

Qualifications

• Produce 2D manufacturing drawings for customer approval
• Create and maintain Bills of Materials
• Amend existing designs and produce calculations
• Carry out site surveys and liaise with production teams to support shopfloor
