Job summary

Kent County Council in Maidstone is seeking a Public Health Trainer to support the MECC training programme across the county. The role focuses on coordinating, promoting and delivering MECC training, building stakeholder networks, and supporting recruitment of participants.

You will monitor training impact and work with the Public Health Team to develop MECC across the county, contributing to improving population health and reducing health inequalities.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating, promoting and delivering MECC training.
• Understanding of behaviour change approaches and MECC methodology.
• Ability to build partnerships across health, social care and voluntary sectors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, promote and deliver MECC training across the county.
• Develop and maintain stakeholder networks to support training delivery.
• Support recruitment of training participants.
• Monitor and evaluate training impact for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Public Health colleagues to embed MECC across organisations.
