Ensure that the Making Every Contact Countinitiative has synergy with the emerging social prescribing scheme in Southendworking in partnership with the Lead of Social Prescribing and Insight

The postholder will work face to face inSouthend-on-Sea todevelopand improve accessibility of theSouthend-on-SeasMECCtrainingprogramme andHealthyWorkplacesScheme.TheMECC/WorkplacesLeadwillplay a critical role in addressing barriers to engagement and enable people toplay an active part in supporting community health through building on thelocal community assets.

The postholder will work face to face in Southend-on-Sea to develop andimprove accessibility of the Southend-on-Seas MECC training programme. The MECC/ CommunityEngagement Insight Lead will play a critical role in addressing barriers toengagement and enable people to play an active part in supporting community healththrough building on the local community assets.
MECC:
DeliverMake Every Contact Count training to organisations and members of the communityon a weekly basis
Expected towork with other providers to deliver optimal health outcomes for adultresidents andthe local community.
Lead on social mediafor the Integrated Service
Lead on the annualFeel Good Festival
Effectively engageall partners / stakeholders in health and voluntary services with the wellbeingservice and ensure they are briefed on each programmes aims and objectives.Providing service introductions where permissible.
To maintain andreview the community engagement tracker for use across the Southend Wellbeing service.
Co-ordinate andattend virtual and face to face events to promote the service we offer inSouthend.
