Join the Audi F1 Project - Shape the Future of Motorsport!

Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.

Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.

The new team has three locations: the Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland), known for its innovative technologies; Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany), one of the most modern in Europe; and Sauber Motorsport Technology Center in the UK. The Power Unit is developed in Neuburg, while Hinwil handles chassis development and race operations, with support from the UK.

This position is based at Sauber in Hinwil, Switzerland.

Your mission
  • Program and operate Zeiss measuring machines using Calypso software
  • Program and operate Hexagon 3D scanners with Polyworks software
  • Perform incoming, intermediate, and final inspections of mechanical components
  • Prepare, document, and create test reports
  • Record error messages in the quality system
  • Collaborate across departments for effective development and implementation of solutions
  • Support and advise other departments on measurement and drawing issues
Your profile
  • Completed basic mechanical training with additional quality assurance qualification
  • Proficient in Zeiss-Calypso software and handling Zeiss CMMs
  • Experience with manual measuring equipment and gauges
  • Strong ability to read technical drawings (ISO GPS 8015)
  • Structured, precise, and independent working style
  • Resilient, flexible, and willing to work in two shifts
  • Responsible with a strong sense of quality
  • Fluent in German or English; willingness to learn the other language
