Join the Audi F1 Project - Shape the Future of Motorsport!

Welcome to the Audi F1 Project. Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. The new team has three locations: the Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland), known for its innovative technologies; Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany), one of the most modern in Europe; and the Sauber Motorsport Technology Center in the UK. The Power Unit comes from Neuburg, with chassis development and race operations in Hinwil, supported by the UK.

Become part of this unique project and make motorsport history. This position is based at Sauber in Hinwil, Switzerland.

Your mission:

  • Programming and operating Zeiss measuring machines with Calypso software
  • Programming and operating Hexagon 3D scanners with Polyworks software
  • Carrying out incoming, intermediate, and final inspections of mechanical components
  • Preparation, documentation, and creation of test reports
  • Recording error messages in the quality system
  • Cross-departmental collaboration for efficient development and implementation of solutions
  • Supporting various departments with measurement and drawing-related issues

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed basic mechanical training with additional training in quality assurance
  • Very good knowledge of Zeiss-Calypso software and handling of Zeiss CMMs
  • Experience with manual measuring equipment and gauges
  • Excellent ability to read technical drawings per ISO GPS 8015
  • Structured, precise, and independent working style
  • High resilience, flexibility, and willingness to work in 2 shifts
  • Strong sense of responsibility and quality awareness
  • Business fluency in German or English; willingness to learn the other language
