Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.

Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.

The new team has three locations: the Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland), known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing; Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany), one of the most modern of its kind in Europe; and the Sauber Motorsport Technology Center in the UK. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil handles chassis development and race operations with support from the UK.

This position for the Audi F1 Project is based at Sauber in Hinwil (Switzerland).

Your mission:

  • Programming and operating Zeiss measuring machines with Calypso software
  • Programming and operating Hexagon 3D scanners with Polyworks software
  • Carrying out incoming, intermediate, and final inspections of mechanical components
  • Preparation, documentation, and creation of test reports
  • Recording error messages in the quality system
  • Cross-departmental collaboration for the efficient development and implementation of proposed solutions
  • Supporting various departments in measurement and drawing-related issues

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed basic mechanical training with additional training in quality assurance
  • Very good knowledge of Zeiss-Calypso software and handling of Zeiss CMMs
  • Experience with manual measuring equipment and gauges
  • Excellent ability to read technical drawings - ISO GPS 8015
  • Structured, precise, and independent working style
  • High resilience, flexibility, and willingness to work 2 shifts
  • High sense of responsibility and quality awareness
  • Business fluency in German or English, with willingness to learn the other language
