Join the Audi F1 Project - Shape the Future of Motorsport!

Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.

Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.

The new team has three locations: the Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland), known for its innovative technologies; Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany), one of the most modern of its kind in Europe; and the Sauber Motorsport Technology Center in the UK. The Power Unit is developed in Neuburg, while Hinwil focuses on chassis development and race operations, with support from the UK.

This position for the Audi F1 Project is based at Sauber in Hinwil, Switzerland.

Your Mission
  • Programming and operating Zeiss measuring machines with Calypso software
  • Programming and operating Hexagon 3D scanners with Polyworks software
  • Carrying out incoming, intermediate, and final inspections of mechanical components
  • Preparation, documentation, and creation of test reports
  • Recording error messages in the quality system
  • Collaborating across departments to develop and implement solutions efficiently
  • Supporting various departments with measurement and drawing-related issues
Your Profile
  • Completed basic mechanical training with additional quality assurance training
  • Proficient in Zeiss-Calypso software and handling Zeiss CMMs
  • Experience with manual measuring equipment and gauges
  • Strong ability to read technical drawings (ISO GPS 8015)
  • Structured, precise, and independent working style
  • Resilient, flexible, and willing to work two shifts
  • High responsibility and quality awareness
  • Fluent in German or English, with willingness to learn the other language
