Qualifications

Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.
Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.
The new team has three locations: the Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland), known for its innovative technologies; Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany), one of the most modern of its kind in Europe; and the Sauber Motorsport Technology Center in the UK. The Power Unit is from Neuburg, while Hinwil handles chassis development and race operations with support from the UK.

Note: This position is based at Sauber in Hinwil, Switzerland.

Your mission
  • Programming and operating Zeiss measuring machines with Calypso software
  • Programming and operating Hexagon 3D scanners with Polyworks software
  • Carrying out incoming, intermediate, and final inspections of mechanical components
  • Preparation, documentation, and creation of test reports
  • Recording error messages in the quality system
  • Collaborating across departments for efficient development and implementation of solutions
  • Supporting various departments with measurement and drawing-related issues
Your profile
  • Successfully completed basic mechanical training with additional training in quality assurance
  • Excellent knowledge of Zeiss-Calypso software and handling Zeiss CMMs
  • Experience with manual measuring equipment and gauges
  • Strong ability to read technical drawings (ISO GPS 8015)
  • Structured, precise, and independent working style
  • High resilience, flexibility, and willingness to work 2 shifts
  • High sense of responsibility and quality awareness
  • Business fluent in German or English; willingness to learn the other language
