Jack Tizard School is seeking a dedicated role to support pupils during mealtimes, helping them eat and drink safely while providing engaging play and interaction opportunities.

The school serves pupils aged 2–19 with SLD and PMLD, emphasising a multi-disciplinary approach to learning and a welcoming, inclusive community. DBS required; excellent transport links and pension scheme offered.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will have a positive and enthusiastic approach with a passion for supporting learners with SEND.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships across the school community.
• Be able to multi-task and adapt to varied, sometimes unpredictable environments.
• Have excellent IT skills and be flexible and solution-focused.

• Keep pupils safe during mealtimes and support them to improve eating and drinking skills.
• Provide fun play and interaction opportunities to support learning and wellbeing.
• Work as part of a supportive staff team and contribute to safeguarding and welfare policies.
