Job summary

Sidmouth CE Primary School is seeking a Mealtime Assistant to cover lunchtimes Monday to Friday for 2 hours daily. The role involves ensuring a safe and calm dining experience, building rapport with children, and supporting them during lunchtime in both the dining room and on the playground.

The successful candidate will liaise with school staff and be able to lift and move tables and chairs as part of the lunchtime setup and clear-down. Applications via the School Administrator.

Qualifications

• Will be responsible for a safe and calm dining experience.
• Will be able to build a rapport with children.
• Will be able to support children during lunchtime provision both in the dining room and on the playground.
• Will be able to liaise both written and verbally with other school staff.
• Will be physically able to lift and move tables and chairs as part of the setup and clear-down for lunchtime.
