Job summary

The Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth is seeking a Programme Design and Impact Advisor to lead MEAL across our international programmes. You will design monitoring frameworks, drive evidence-based learning and strengthen data management for improved impact on donkeys, communities and partners.

The role requires a track record in international development MEAL, experience with theory of change and participatory methods, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or above or qualified through relevant experience.
• Experience in programme design and MEAL in international development.
• Knowledge of theory of change and MEAL frameworks.
• Experience in designing and/or conducting mixed methods evaluations.
• Experience in MEAL training and mentoring approaches.
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead monitoring and evaluation of funded global programmes.
• Develop a shared monitoring and evaluation database for effective data management.
• Implement and review a Results Framework and MEAL tools.
• Enable staff and partners to apply MEAL tools and plan MEAL activities.
• Improve reporting systems across the IPP team.
• Collaborate on surveys and workshops for needs assessment and design.
• Support proposals ensuring MEAL is integrated into project plans and budgets.
