Job summary

The Donkey Sanctuary is seeking a Project Manager to lead a portfolio of system implementation projects within our global Technology Transformation Programme. You will oversee planning, delivery and benefits realisation, engaging operational teams and management at all levels to ensure successful outcomes.

The role requires formal PM qualifications and a track record of delivering complex ERP and other critical projects, with strong communication, leadership and change-management skills.

Qualifications

• Holder of a recognised formal project management qualification (APM/Prince2/PMD Pro or equivalent).
• Proven success in delivering multiple complex, concurrent projects in a busy environment with varying priorities, budgets and time frames.
• Evidence of delivering system implementation projects through a typical project lifecycle, ideally with ERP implementations.

Responsibilities

• Take an active part in designing, adapting and delivering plans to meet project aims.
• Lead implementation management and monitoring/evaluation across the project lifecycle.
• Manage, escalate and communicate project progress to senior management in meetings.
• Provide PM expertise to sponsors and Senior PM to ensure on-time delivery within budget and benefits.
• Actively manage risk, issues, decisions, actions and benefits tracking tools.
• Work with Change Manager to ensure stakeholder engagement and adoption of new processes.
• Encourage new ideas and capture lessons learned to improve structures and processes.
