A regional healthcare provider in Shrewsbury is seeking an administrative assistant for their Cancer Services team. The role involves supporting Cancer Pathway Coordinators, ensuring smooth MDT meetings, and monitoring patient progress to meet national cancer treatment targets. We are looking for a proactive individual to join our Cancer Services team to provide administrative support to our Cancer Pathway Coordinators. This is an interesting and challenging role, bringing the post holder in touch with a variety of departments and professionals within the Trust, helping enable the smooth running of the MDT meetings and facilitating the collection of cancer data to achieve the National Cancer Targets.
The successful applicant will possess excellent communication skills, be efficient at organising and prioritising a busy workload and remain calm under pressure to achieve tight deadlines. The candidates must have an understanding of patient and data confidentiality and its importance.
