Job summary

Sophos is seeking an experienced MDR Operations Manager to lead high-performing MDR teams and deliver consistent security operations across a 24x7 global service. Based in APJ hours, with a focus on people development, operational health, investigation quality, and cross-region collaboration.

You will use data, automation, and continuous improvement to remove friction, improve scalability, and drive customer outcomes while coordinating with global teams to ensure high standards of incident

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, MDR/SOC, or related discipline.
• Experience leading security operations in a high-volume, customer-facing environment.
• Proven people-leadership experience including coaching, onboarding, and development.

Responsibilities

• Lead MDR Team Leads and analysts, set expectations, coach, and foster a high-performing culture.
• Manage staffing, workload, queue health, and service levels across APJ hours.
• Collaborate with Threat Intelligence, Detection Engineering, Incident Response, Product and Engineering to improve detection and response.
