This position is located in Hagerstown, MD, USA.

Position Requirements

About this Location:

Plastic Surgery Services provides a relaxed atmosphere just minutes from the busy metropolitan areas near Hagerstown. The facility has a state-of-the-art, fully certified plastic surgery center at their Maryland location and offers a variety of popular cosmetic procedures.

Case Assignments:

Case Mix: Plastics and General.

Location Facts:

Schedule Includes:

  • Tuesdays and occasional Wednesdays (8-hour shifts)

Area Attractions:

  • National Museum of Civil War Medicine
  • Gambrills State Park
  • 20 minutes from the Appalachian Trail

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department
  • Manage the medical care of patients undergoing anesthesia during surgery and procedures
  • Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments
  • Obtain and verify patient consent
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
  • Perform induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitor patients' physiological conditions
  • Perform clinical interventions as needed

Requirements:

  • M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
  • ECFMG and FLEX certification
  • Completion of an approved Residency in Anesthesia
  • Current medical license
