To provide expert care, highly specialist advice, and support to patients with Lung Cancer and their carers. The post holder is expected to provide clinical leadership within this area of care to develop education and research relevant to the specialty.
This post will work with the multidisciplinary team to provide a comprehensive service to patients with Lung Cancer.
The post holder will provide highly specialist nursing knowledge and expertise on various aspects of Lung Cancer care.
The post holder will have a major role in developing Lung Cancer services to meet patient needs and align with the NHS plan.
The post holder will act as the key worker, liaising with other healthcare professionals, including the Primary Healthcare Team, to ensure optimal care from diagnosis to treatment.
