Retail Insights is part of United Media, which focuses on building large-scale industry media and conference products in sectors such as insurance, HR, private equity, retail, and more. To date, we have organically launched 8 media companies and acquired one.

The Opportunity

As an MBA Graduate, you will run, grow, and manage all aspects of Retail Insights. Your responsibilities include building and leading a world-class team, ensuring the successful execution of conferences, and implementing the brand's strategy.

This role is ideal if you possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, are highly ambitious, forward-thinking, and driven to inspire and lead a team. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment and be eager to scale the company rapidly.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, build, and develop a high-performing team.
• Build an ecosystem and deliver outstanding products.
• Set clear expectations, establish goals, and provide ongoing detailed feedback and performance evaluations.
• Execute the strategy swiftly and effectively.
• Develop the company’s brand as the premier platform for inspiration, knowledge, and networking.
• Oversee planning, execution, and completion of conferences within designated timelines and budgets.
• Assign tasks to team members across departments, monitor progress, and ensure objectives are met.
• Identify opportunities to expand business with existing clients and collaborate with business development teams for new client acquisition.

Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in high-speed, high-work-ethic environments such as management consulting, investment banking, top-tier corporations, or startups.
• Bachelor’s degree with outstanding results, potentially followed by an MBA.
• Strong commercial awareness and a passion for business.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid UK, EU, or US work permit.
