The Position

As a Maximo Project Manager you will be client facing in person where appropriate but also remotely and will have a range of responsibilities including;

• Project Management and Delivery of large customer facing projects and for the operational relationship with those customers.
• Supporting the consultants line manager in the development of the relevant team members to ensure that the business has the necessary professional services skills and capability to deliver against defined objectives
• Operation of project delivery processes to ensure that quality, technical and other relevant targets are met, whilst ensuring that customer expectations are exceeded
• Effective contribution to the resource planning process to meet both project deliverables and ensure the necessary levels of utilisation are achieved
• Timely and effective reporting and commercial management of projects to support the achievement of corporate project profitability targets
• Contribute to the financial timetable of the company in a timely and accurate manner
• Create Project ‘status’ reports, to be presented and reviewed during regular Project Management meetings.

The Candidate

As a suitable candidate for the Maximo Project Manager position you must have demonstrable project management experience delivering EAM or similar technology-based projects. You will have outstanding communication and inter-personal skills, with the ability to influence peers and exec-level staff. You must be eligible for UK security clearance at an advanced level.

Good knowledge of IBM Maximo is required along with hands on experience working in industries such as Government contracts, Pharmaceutical, Facilities Management or Travel and Transport.
