Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maxillofacial Prosthetist/Reconstructive Scientist to join our dynamic team in the Maxillofacial Laboratory.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake a wide range of work therefore some experience in Maxillofacial Prosthetics is desirable although local training will be provided. The successful applicant will be expected to have had some experience in the following areas of Maxillofacial Prosthetics:

  • Orthognathic planning & appliances
  • Trauma splints and appliances
  • Conventional facial prosthetics
  • Custom made silicone implants
  • 3D design softwares, printers, and technologies
  • Cranioplasty implants
  • Intra-oral implant prosthetics
  • Implants retained facial prosthetics
  • Clinical & technical knowledge of obturation
