About the Trust: We are committed to delivering safe, clean, and personal services to our patients and carers. Salford Royal Critical Care is a leading specialist centre for Major Trauma, Neurosciences, Upper GI, and Intestinal Failure within Greater Manchester. The Critical Care unit comprises 40 level 2 & 3 beds, with Fairfield Hospital offering a 6-bed Critical Care unit serving local needs, including ENT services, low-risk cardiac surgery, and supporting the local Stroke Hub.

You will provide specialist advice to patients, relatives, and multidisciplinary team members, utilizing clinical audit, research, supervision, and teaching. Monitoring and improving standards of care through effective resource use is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the delivery of patient care from admission to discharge, facilitating clinical practice development.
  2. Oversee the day-to-day management of the clinical area, ensuring compliance with Trust policies and documentation standards.

  4. Utilize clinical audit and research to monitor and enhance care standards.

About Us: The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust serves over one million residents across Greater Manchester, employing 20,000 colleagues dedicated to improving health outcomes in hospital and community settings.

We value care, appreciation, and inspiration, and offer a role with purpose, flexibility, and opportunities for career development. Our benefits include generous annual leave, flexible working, and protected time for health and wellbeing activities.
